It is with great sadness that we advise that our long standing member, Chris Aitken passed away last night, Sunday 2 August. Our condolences go out to his extended family including fellow members, Wilbur Wilde and Oscar Koch.

A very cold, windy and showery day greeted us at Moonah Links, Open Course this week which limited scoring for all members, except Aaron Hepworth who was not fazed by the weather one little bit. He played a near faultless game breaking 80 off the stick.

Next week we remain on the Mornington Peninsular with our game this coming Monday booked at Portsea Golf Club. We continue to receive requests by all clubs to provide numbers early in the week, so we ask members to respond promptly to the Captain’s invitation email this week and look forward to catching up next Monday.
