A cool, sunny day that turned windy and cold later provided challenging conditions for golf at Southern this week. The course was in excellent condition but with work in progress still impacting the front nine, play was still relatively smooth with all groups finished before 5:00pm. There were some strong scores, especially amongst higher handicap members.

Next week we return to the Mornington Peninsular with our game this coming Monday booked at Flinders Golf Club. We continue to receive requests by all clubs to provide numbers early in the week, so we ask members to respond promptly to the Captain’s invitation email this week and look forward to catching up next Monday.
